PNEUMONIA

PNEUMONIA is a disease which is affected by infection air sacs in one or both lungs, it’s may fill with fluids. Anyone can get this infection, but younger than age two and people over age sixty five are at higher risk. Because their immune system might not be strong enough to fight it. Pneumonia will be cause of virus, bacteria and fungi. The alveoli fill with fluid or pus, making it difficult to breathe.

TYPE OF PNEUMONIA:- There are four types of pneumonia which is-
1.     Hospital acquired pneumonia (HAP).
2.     Community acquired pneumonia (CAP).
3.     Ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP).
4.     Aspiration pneumonia.

SYMPTOMS:- All the symptoms are depending on what’s causing your pneumonia, your age and your overall health.
1.     Chest pain when you breathe and cough.
2.     Cough that produce phlegm or mucus.
3.     Fever, sweating and chill.
4.     Nausea and vomiting.
5.     Shortness of breath.
6.     Fatigue and loss of appetite.
7.     Coughing and fast heart rate.

TREATMENT:- Contact the chest specialist doctor and follow his/her advice. If he/she advised you to admit to the hospital then you follow their advice. It also depends on the type of pneumonia you have.
1.     Antibiotics can treat many forms of pneumonia.
